Religion and Sex: Symbiosis is OK

Is your religion affecting your dating life? Do you feel there is no one out there for you because they cannot understand your religion and thus your views on premarital sex? We see scenarios in the movies all the time with a religious person refusing to have sex with those they are dating and the person eventually leaving them for someone else. It does happen. Is it your beliefs that are the problem, certainly not. I can speak for all those out there wondering if not having sex leads to a table for one. It doesn’t. Having Sex and Regretting It

The first time I had sex I regretted it. In the park on the ground where any passerby could see if they wanted to, just to get it over with. He was a “Mexican,” someone I knew I wouldn’t have to keep dating nor have to bring around to my friends. He was someone I could use to lose my virginity and get it over with. I was on the rag too. Ick. I wanted to get it over with, not get preggers, and figured he was a good candidate. My best friend was happy for me. I got it done.

Many people, especially teenagers ask themselves if they are ready to have sex. There is no one right time to have sex and everyone is ready to have sex at different times in their lives. Sometimes, our morals and value system determine when we are ready to have sex.
