Category 'Flirting and The Chase'

When a person has feelings for another, they most likely will engage in flirting. They will speak to the other person in such a way as to convey that they are interested in that person. Flirting is a natural form of expression; but a person should take care to limit their flirting to only those they really do have feelings for. To flirt with many people at the same time can lead to having a negative reputation. A lot of people will refer to the desire to flirt with and then date many girls as ‘the chase’. This is a very improper way of thinking that sadly even adults will engage in. If a relationship turns sexual, it can provide a lot of satisfaction if both people involved are emotionally ready for such a relationship. Chasing after as many people as you can, having sex, discarding them afterwards and then going on to the next person on your list will most likely never lead to happiness. A person should care about the feelings of others and treat people with the respect they deserve.

Why You Shouldn’t Take the Next Step with Your Best Friend

We have all had one time or another where we have had a crush on a friend or even a best friend. If you are caught up in the crush and are enjoying the flirting and your friend doesn’t seem to mind, then that is fine. If it is the feel of the chase you love then you might need to mature a bit more in the relationship and love department before you attempt to make a move on your closest friend. This type of situation may lead to massive disappointment for both of you and injure what you have. If you are thinking of disclosing your hearts desire to your best friend and they have never shown you any love signs then you might want to think again. If you are lucky and you know that your best friend feels the same way then this might be an option for you to try, but if there is no reciprocation, flirtation or feelings, then your heart might be in for a let down. Love is such a precious feeling and has to be treasured and respected. It is good to truly sit down and think about why you want to take things further. Ask yourself these questions. Would they be a suitable match for me? Is there a future for us? Am I attracted to my best friend sexually? What are my real reasons? Am I afraid to be alone? Continue reading

It’s No Longer Just a Friendship…

Many people who are single and dating will often meet a lot of people and inevitably go on many dates. Those who are not serious about meeting someone with relationship potential will often limit themselves to dating likeminded people; those who are looking for casual get-togethers and flings. It is often considered to be morally wrong to date while looking for the chase if the other person involved does not know that you have no intention of becoming serious with them. Continue reading
